Poet and Austinite Allyson Whipple is planning a new Austin poetry event. Dos Gatos Press has been invited to participate.

The Austin Feminist Poetry Festival will showcase the work of feminist poets, allow participants to explore and enhance their craft, and foster discussions about poetry and its role in feminist and activist circles.

Please note that this festival embodies an inclusive definition of feminism. It is not for women only. All feminist-identified poets are welcome.
